Re: Browser protection

I cannot find a list of protected browsers, but I can tell you that Chrome, Edge, Firefox and the built in Samsung Internet app are all protected on my Samsung tablet.

Maybe someone else has Brave installed and can comment here.

EDIT   I just installed Brave and it does not show up in the Internet Security section of 360 Android. Just like with PC browsers, Norton supports the browsers with the greatest number of users. They do not have the resources to code for and test against every browser that is out there.

Re: Browser protection

Just adding that Opera, which provides all the protections as Brave DOES show in the protected browser list in Android 13 my side.

Re: Browser protection

Why does the Android version not protect browsers by VPN like on IOS? Brave is a really good browser it runs off of Chromium it has more features then Edge and Chrome. I do understand they have to do the only most used ones. But a VPN would fix that for any browsers. This is just me who uses VPNS anymore on there phone for security of open networks? With fast 4G and growing 5G and u unlimited data plans who needs wifi at a hotel or coffee shop? Evertime I am at a hotel my phone data is always faster than the hotel wifi. That's just me.

Re: Browser protection

Norton 360 Android does have a VPN feature. You find it in the Privacy section of the main 360 interface.

Re: Browser protection

Opera for Android also has a built-in VPN. Same is Brave.
