Norton won't allow my wifi to work

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Norton on my mac. I had someone reconfigure the VPN so that it wouldn't drop my internet connection. The next day my wifi again dropped constantly and then just wouldn't connect to wifi until I deleted it off my computer. FYI the first person I called told me to just "drag in into the trash" which is not the case. You need to uninstall deeply or the VPN stays configured.

I have a subscription that I cannot use. So frustrating they won't fix it NOR give me a refund. Norton - can someone help without me continually having to start with a new person to help every time?
