Importing to Norton from Microsoft Edge

Good morning,

I've tried multiple times over the last few days to import all my credentials i have with Microsoft Edge into Norton Password Manager but no luck. It will gives me a few options which Edge doesn't exist. It's asking for a CVS which i understand although Edge creates a CVS with entries that Norton Password Manager doesn't detect.

Does anyone know the format entries in the CVS that would be recognized by Norton Password Manager?

Thanks,
KD

To import a csv file into your Norton Identity Safe vault, you first need to ensure that the format of the columns matches those used by Norton.

Here is a post from fellow guru yank that outlines the format required.

Maybe, the csv "format" has changed.

Norton Password Manager "Export my vault data" = NortonPasswordManager_date_time.csv

Item Type, User Name, Password, Site Name, Login URL, Notes, Secure, Favorite

for example:

Edge Export passwords = Microsoft Edge Passwords.csv
name,url,username,password

for example:

Thanks @bjm_ . As your tests show, the format has changed since Yank's post was made. Your testing has found the correct format for the .csv file that is needed for an import into Norton Password Manager.

I'll change my notes for future use.
