Norton Backup add spam

I recently purchased Norton Internet Security and am wondering if there is a way to disable the constant spam to use/purchase Norton backup. A "Get Started"window pops up every few days and, oddly enough it doesn't even have an option to close.I've had viruses that are less annoying :).

Would appreciate any insight on how to stop the Norton Backup spam window from popping up.

Hi Soph

    Welcome. If you want to stop the Pop-up from appearing, please remove the Norton Oneline Backup entry from the Startup(tab) in msconfig.

msconfig: Open Run(win key +r) --> type msconfig --> goto startup (tab) --> remove the check mark next to Norton Online Backup --> Restart and check.
