I bought the *&%@$ product, quit bugging me!

I tried Norton Online Backup with the initial 5GB free trial, and liked it. Since I wanted to ultimately back up quite a bit more than 5GB, I bought another 75GB of storage (in 50GB and 25GB chunks).

Now the original 5GB trial has ended, but I still have the 75GB I bought. The backups seem to be working properly. But I still get at least daily notifications from my system tray that my trial has ended and I need to renew!!  I did renew, just not the original 5GB chunk.  How do I stop these notifications?  This is on Windows 7.

Hi ChuckCaroll,

Could you check what your subscription status is? You can verify this by

1. Go to the Norton Online Backup Web site

2. Click Subscription Info ->Your subscription information is displayed with expiry date. If it shows wrong expiry date, click Activate Norton Online Backup.

3. Type your activation code that you received in email, and then click Continue.

4. The subscription info is synchronized with Symantec server, and the message "Thank you, your subscription activation was successful" is displayed at the top of the Norton Online Backup home page.

Thanks,
