Default backup ran for 10 hours last night and only reached 58% - something is very wrong

My backup ran for over 10 hours and was only at 58% done with 6.2 megs to spare our of 42 megs. Yes, I do have high speed internet.

I have a 42 meg backup capacity and cannot run my default set in under 10 hours? I opted to backup my pictures as my PC seems to be failing under a different backup name as opposed to "default".

I am using Windows 7 and Google Chrome is my preferred product.

Not necessarily. Take a look at this post and provide the same answers to the three questions please. One key item from that post to point out is it doesn't matter if you have a high-speed connection or not. The upload speed will always be an average of 1/4th or less of what your download speed is. It's how most ISPs can provide the fast download rates.
