Incremental back up

I searched for the above and found a few "solved" threads that satisfied my curiosity.  The point of this post is to suggest that incremental back up is a very important feature, especially noting the long upload times for a full back up.  I couldn't find this information in the standard product blurb or tutorials.  If I've not looked hard enough, please link to the location.

Thanks,

Ian

Re: Incremental back up

Once the software has initiated the first backup, the backups for the next 90 days will scan for new and changed files. After the 90 days is up and a file is not been changed the software will request a new copy of the file. This goes on which each backup that's adding the new file, making a flag to note for 90 days. This feature keeps the server updated with a current file for restore. If this does not answer the question fully please feel free to send me a PM.

Re: Incremental back up

Very good point. I searched as well and could not find anything explaining it either.

Re: Incremental back up

Thanks, MS - I feel more relaxed now.  It still leaves the question of how this is handled in Help/Instructions, whichis why I had to ask.

Thanks again,

Ian
