I just got NOBU and it has not been able to back up. Every time it tries it gets to the 9 GB mark and stops. The "Backup Stopped" message pops up. The activity log has the red x on the icon and "Backup failed (w2)" message. No explanation. It stops at the same point everytime. If I can't get it to work I will need my money back.

Hello majorslady,
This error occurs when an application using the data to be backed up, is open in the background. Make sure you close all the open application when the backup is started.

I'm having the same problem, but as far as I can tell, all programs are closed (including web browsers and small programs that are usually running even when minimized -- I closed out of everything). Is there a way to tell which open process/program is preventing the backup from moving forward?
