I had to run the Power Eraser to remove a virus my machine clearly had.
I'm running Windows 10 and now whenever an app tries to update it fails giving error 0x080070490 and I cannot use the app again. I've tried using a couple of solutions I found on the web but neither has worked. I can't be sure that it was the Power Eraser that caused the issue since Microsoft Solitaire had already died prior to using it.
If I use the restore point prior to the Power Eraser or undo the Power Eraser will I simply re-infect myself with the virus?
Any other solutions? Any help much appreciated.
