Why does norton 360 net slow down my 10Gigabit LAN?
LAN network real speed is 9.50Gbps without Norton360 installed. When I install Norton360 speed drops down to 1.5Gbps… 1.5Gbps!!!
The speed is between my desktop and synology.
Is there a setting that can be changed to not lose speed with norton 360 installed???
Got the same problem. With norton LAN traffic is limited to ~10Mbit on a 10Gbit Network. The moment i deinstall it goes back up to full speed. And dear Norton guys, im talking about LAN traffic not internet-speed!
Abbiamo descritto lo stesso problema in un altro tread. Ovviamente è stato chiesto aiuto a Norton ma non ci hanno mai risposto.
L’unico che ha provato ad aiutarci è uno di questo forum, @SoulAsylum, a cui vanno i miei ringraziamenti.
Ho abbandonato Norton dopo tantissimi anni (e con l’abbonamento attivo fino a marzo del prossimo anno) e sono passato ad una famosa suite concorrente e ora non ho più problemi.
Peccato perché pensavo che l’assistenza Norton funzionasse, invece …

In your Norton settings is your network set as private or public? Private setting will give you unfettered access to your LAN whereas, public will restrict it. You may also want to reset the Norton firewall and restart the machine and recheck.
