Ok I know that 192.168.0.1 is the default for some home broadband routers and other types of network equipment.
I don'yt have a router, but a DSL box that does NOT have a firewall
Generally in my log viewer under
internet worm protection
activities
I get an entry of
Port Blocking allowed 192.168.0.1(8).
this has been happening for well over a year so I'm ok with it.
However, today I'm getting this entry now as well
Port Blocking allowed 192.168.0.1(63341).
It seems I get more 192.168.0.1(8). but every 30 mins or so 192.168.0.1(63341) shows
so given that 192.168.0.1 is the default for some home broadband routers and other types of network equipment.
Does it matter that some have (8) and others have (63341) and is doing so for malice
I worry that something comes through my DSL now through (63341)?
Anyone know if those parentheses numbers make any difference?
