1st online backup failed, no reason given

I just installed my new 360 subscription.  I ran the first backup and it says it failed.

 

There is no reason given, and I have no idea what I can do to fix it because I don't know why it failed.

 

Can someone please tell me what I should do, and know I am not familiar with the technical side of anything to do with this so please keep that in mind.

Can you tell us what you did do to establish your backup set, which drive is the source and which drive is the destination? Also how much data are you trying to backup?
