On my Vista pc I upgraded ok ........ no problems as such apart from seeing "intrusion protection" had gone off on its own once, I used the Fix button and thats been fine ever since...
I do however have the My Network AT RISK error that many of us are seeing.
At present the techs are aware of this and working on a solution/patch.
As you have uninstalled and reinstalled, you can only but try again and see what happens ....... fingers crossed for you X
Has anyone here successfully upgraded 2.2.0.2 to 2.3.0.9 and have intrusion protection work in non-admin accounts? Previously, I had 2.0.0.242 and used LiveUpdate and was upgraded to 2.1.0.5 and then I rebooted and used LiveUpdate again and was upgraded to 2.3.0.9. I had the intrusion protection issue with non-admin accounts so I used the Norton Removal Tool and downloaded the latest version and I am now on 2.2.0.2. I am afraid if I use LiveUpdate I will be upgraded to 2.3.0.9 and have the intrusion protection issue again.
In my experience it depends whether you are using XP or Vista.
With XP, 2.3.0.9 installs OK but you get the 'At Risk' error.
With Vista, either 2.3.0.9 installs and you get the Intrusion error or the program upgrade fails with Error LU1812 and you are left with 2.2.0.2.
