20.1.1.2 Update Norton Internet Security ~ Blue Screen in Google Chrome

Since updating Norton Internet Security this morning I am unable to access Google Chrome.

All I see is a blue screen with a small heading bar.

 

I can access Google Chrome via Internet Exploer, but not directly through Google Chrome.

 

Any solution??

Well, 20 minutes after my last post (having briefly signed out of chrome to send some emails), logged back in and BINGO - back to a blue screen as detailed in the link in my first post!!!!!

 

I didn't change any settings in Chrome but there may have been a Norton live update - still at version 20.1.1.2 but now back to square one with Chrome - which seems to mean that I have to uninstall Norton to change the Chrome settings and then re-install Norton and hope it lasts for a few hours!!

 

Is there anyone within the Norton employee groups who can report on the status of this problem?  We in the user community can chat and offer opinions but is anything happening between Symantec and Google to resolve?

I tried contacting Norton Internet Security via their online chat.

Put on hold for response in 2 minutes ..... still waiting after several hours ! ! !
