I bought the Norton 2010 AntiVirus Antispyware 3 PC's 1 year protection for my Toshiba w/ Vista Home Basic even though I do not subscribe to Norton 360 or have any other Norton product currently running. When provided spot to enter product key, the hyphens were not accepted where they belonged; why is this? I returned to store and bought another product with success but could not return mine since plastic wrap was removed although never registered. Can I sell this on eBay without conflict? I also paid $3 extra for disc replacement at least that's what I think it was for... appreciate any insight. Thanks.
Hi kajaw,
Please contact Symantec Customer Service at the link below; you can chat with them for free at this link (for US and Canada):
http://www.symantec.com/norton/support/contact/contact.jsp?pvid=cs
Ask them if it is possible to request a refund for the product you already bought. I think it's illegal to sell Norton products on eBay, I strongly recommend that you do not do so; you can ask Customer Support about this.
Please tell us how it goes - thanks :-)
Thanks for your help, I chatted with CSR and received case # and instructions for return and refund!
Thanks for posting back - glad Customer Support was able to help you :-)

Hi kajaw,
In regards to the product key, do not try and input the hyphens as they are automatically put in.
Hope this is useful going forward.
