Hi, I had my Samsung Note 2 stolen by a Thief on a Pushbike on a back street in Spain & used the Norton Mobile Security instruction for Tracing & for Wiping all data, both from the Norton Control Panel & via 2 seperate txt's sent via Skype to the local SIM/number I was using in Spain.
So I believe that I have sent 2 txt's to my Philippines Cell/SIM Number directly from the Norton Control Panel (followed by the Skype txt's to the spanish cell number).
Hence I am being cautious in installing Norton Mobile Security on my brand new Samsung Note 2, even though I want it installed very much.
I need to have confirmation that a different IMEI on the new Note 2, will mean that my new phone will be treated as a different phone & not get wiped when I log into Norton to register the software. Or that some other flag will prevent my new phone from being wiped.
