30GB backup folder recovers 1MB of files!?

One day my files were encrypted by ransomware, bought a new computer.

After a while I realized a had this Norton backup, being 30GB in size, BINGO.

After some work, because the backup could only be placed back onto the same computer using the same OS (Windows 7), I imported the backup into Norton 360 and the result was a couple worthless files recovered totalling 1MB.

Does Norton seriously take up 30GB of disk space to backup 1MB!?

All these Norton_360 backup folders and files have names like {6D5D4BBD-65EB-4558-B7DF-5434D1782517}

Folder {0 contains many files like 00AB145-6878-4C11-B11B-2233D3D847F1}

WHERE ARE MY FILES!?!? And how to access them!?
