I was running 360 from Feb 2008 till Feb 2009. I switched to Internet Security 2009. Now I need the files that were backed up with 360, due to a system crash this week. How do I retrieve them?
Hi gharr,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Let us know whether you have an active subscription for Norton 360 and where you have backed up the files. If you have backed up the files to Online Storage and if you don't have an active subscription, your files may have got purged. The files will be stored in Online Storage only for 30 days after the date of expiration of your subscription. So, you won't be able to retrieve those files any more. If you have stored the files in any of your external drives, then you can try installing a trialware of Norton 360 and then restore those files.

Here is a little know feature. It turns out that 360 uses the same back-end as Norton Online Backup. So you can to to https://nobu.backup.com/session/new , log on with your norton account, and access all your backed up files.
The interface is less than perfect - you can't search for files, there is no indication of the date of the last backup. But still, you can get your files anytime, any place so long as you have an internet connection and so long as you know your norton account logon info.
By the way, it is a good reason to use a strong password for your Norton account.
