360 Protection and Trusted Sites

Does 360 protect your computer with a questionable trusted site in IE8?  I added file://server1 to my trusted sites.  I removed the entry later, but now I have concerns.  Does this entry create problems?

Am I correct to assume from your reply that even adding a file in Trusted Sites like I described is still protected from 360?

Yes.  Norton will block any recognized attack, regardless of the site or the permissions it has in the browser.  But you have an extra layer of protection by keeping sites in more secure zones rather than trusting them.  Puttting a site in the Trusted Sites Zone gives that site the ability to do things in the browser that may allow an attack to be launched that otherwise could not be were the site in a more restrictive zone, such as the Internet Zone.  Preventing a site from being able to launch an attack in the first place is always better than having to respond to a threat that is actively attempting to gain entry to your PC.
