360 v 5.0 will not start and shows error 8504, 101

Have tried following all the suggestions, uninstall, re install all to no avail. 360 will not start at all. This has been happening in the last 6 days.

How can I resolve this issue.

I had 8504, 104 but this was replaced with 101.

Especially the section:-

"I finally managed to get Norton 360 V5 running. Apparently Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) had installed itself on my PC in the background during my re-installation of Win 7 and I hadn't noticed.

After uninstalling MSE, I was able to install & activate Norton 360 V5 with no problems to  my internet connection."

Check to see if you're running more than 1-AV
