I bought a 360 pack which can be installed on 3 PCs I can't remember exactly (since it has been a while since I installed it)will the activation code be the same for all 3 PCs?

I just got to the activation window and it says:
This activation code is invalid: And then gives the exact same activation code as on the sticker on the Norton 360 box.
I am getting sick of this now, it installed fine on my PC, why can't it do the same on my laptop. And on the fornt page it says V2 is faster, well I'm finding V1 was.
Yeah it will be the same key, you probably wont even be asked for the key, it will automatically retrieve it for you.
Jonathan I would suggest you click on support immediately and they will fix the problem with the activation key. Don’t worry, version 2 is better than version 1 and shouldn’t slow down your PC any more than the previous version.
the support is a mess, in the chat I was 59th and the phone form rejected our phone number. it would just be easier if they had a plain phone number displayed clearly on the support page. which you phoned and talked to someone, none of this we'll phone you back nonsense.

I’m not sure where you are located, but try this.
I have a PC and a laptop, both using Norton 360 and connected to the same internet connection using Belkin N1 Vision router.
The PC just had a message poped up and told me that I could upgrade to V2 for free. I did so and I find it great. But on the laptop I havent received such a message. And I have no idea how to upgrade fo V1 to V2, without that message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I had to reinstall firefox.
But now I realise that if I launch Firefox from the start menu or desktop it takes about 3-4 seconds, which is slower then it was without 360 v2. But if I launch firefox from Object dock it takes about 10-15 seconds. Which is quite long when your used to it taking 1 second/pretty much immediatly. I ould guess that Norton checks object dock to make sure that it is not some virusy thing everytime I launch something from it. But if I launch other applications from object dock they staqrt up like normal.

To upgrade to V2, first try running Live Update manually, and see if it prompts you to upgrade.
If not, go here and download the trial version of N360 V2. When you go to install it, it should uninstall your previous version. Have your Product Key handy in case you are asked for it.
