I have Norton 360. I have started to get a message reading " 421 resources temporarily unavailable. Please try later" when I send emails. What does this mean? Has the email been sent?
Hi rogerlayet:
Welcome to the Norton Community!
From SendOfJive...
"Norton displays SMTP errors that are returned by your ISP (these messages would be displayed in your email client if Norton were not installed). It is most likely being caused by temporary interruptions with your service. If it is happening all the time you should first check with your ISP to see if they are experiencing any server issues. You can try disabling outgoing email scanning in Norton, just to check that the scan isn't doing something that is disrupting your connection, but more than likely this is a remote issue having to do with your email provider's servers."
I would have said almost the same, so why not just copy and paste!
Let us know how you do!

Hi rogerlayet,
My comments quoted above were posted in this thread:
The problem there was apparently solved by changing the server settings to conform with the ISP's recommendations.
Thanks Atomic_Blast:) for your helpful note...I'll contact server when next it happens
