Hello,
i keep getting a 450 message error using outlook 2007 (too many emails) when i send an email. Can anyone help with this.
Yesterday i configured my outlook to receive hotmail messages using outlook connector. I am wondering if this could be the problem.
Thanks
Welcome,
This is not an error associated with your Norton product. A quick search found this
hxxp://speedmaxpc.com/speed/booster/fix.php?t202id=5132&t202kw=error%20450&ad=Ad500&gclid=CJ-nvdze27QCFQJx4AodRAEAXQ
the "xx" should be "tt" but I don't want a live link posted
The other possibility is that your email service provider is blocking your multiple message sends as spam. If you are batching messages you may need to contact them to get their limits so that you can continue to function.

Thanks for the quick reply. It does it for single messages also. I thought it was a Norton problem because a Norton window pops up to tell me that i have too many emails.
Hi,
Norton just passes the error messages it receives thru to the screen. Sounds like time to contact your ISP and find out if the emailserver has a problem or their filters are identifying you as a problem.

Ok, I shall do that, thanks.

It seems that ports 25 and 465 are blocked. i used port 587 and it works. I did not call isp provider because they put me on hold for 20 minutes and i figured this out on my own.
Thank you. How do i post that this is solved?
