I ran a scan last night in "safe mode" while using NIS11 and no viruses were detected.(I like to run a scan in safe mode at least once a week) Then I decided to upgrade to NIS12. And after that was installed completely, with updates, I ran a scan with NIS12 in "normal mode". Again no viruses were found.
Today I decided to run Malwarebytes and Super Anti-Spyware in "safe Mode" and again nothing was found. Then I decided to run NIS12 in "Safe Mode" also, and it came back with 5 Heuristic Viruses. The files were:
-applemobiledevicesupport64.msi
-applemobiledevicesupport64[1].msi
-Data1.cab
-95d6.msi
-9027a0.msi
Are these false positives? I don't understand how NIS11 could have missed these if they aren't. I haven't been on any sites or downloaded anything since updating to NIS12. All of theses files were quaranteed, but Norton deleted the Data1.cab file entirely. Thank you
