6,045 issues slowing PC - Why do I NOT see any slow down? I would think that with 6.045 issues my PC would be running like a dog but it is not. No slow loading of apps., no slow or glitching graphics, no BSODs, in fact it appears to be running as it did when new.
314 Broken Short-cuts!, I have not loaded or removed 314 programmes since Norton removed the free Utilities suite!
Is Norton overstating and/or extravagating the impact to alarm customers and boost sales?
P.S. the number of issues on the pop-up does add to 6045?
Its related to Tune Up that is baked into Norton. Please have a look at my post in another related thread. There isn't a singular app or program that triggers this to run, there IS an executable that starts the entire process named nuPerfScan.exe. It can be renamed by disabling Norton Tamper Protection in Norton settings. However, when the next full product update arrives it will replace it in the program again and this process starts all over. Hope this helps.
