I am new to this site and have only joined because of the constant error message I get with the latest Norton 360 software. The message is something like 8460 421 and I read somewhere that this is a common fault which can be resolved by reverting back to 2012.
I have now removed Norton 360 Gold Edition that cost £60.00 and uploaded the old version, only to find I can have a 15 day trial free then am expected to pay for it.
Can someone please tell me if this bug is likely to be fixed so that I can utilise the remaining 8 months or whether I am expected to purchase 2012? I have purchased Norton security since 2007 and this is the 1st time it has let me down.
