if that doesn't work out, can you let us know what kind of 90 day trial you have (from a PC manufacturer, etc.)

no it didn’t work… i purchased an acer laptop from costco on saturday, had a free 90 day trial from norton once i clicked and installed it with initial computer startup.  yesterday said i had 88 days left

What is the exact message you are getting? I want to clarify that the product is showing as expired, and is not popping up reminders to purchase the product. Thanks!

YEs, please confirm what Tony asked.  Also, did you run LiveUpdate during those 3 days prior to it being expired?

First it has a little red notice thing on the icon in the lower right corner of screen. 

 

When I open it up, it say my trial version has expired and needs to be renewed. 

 

I have ran a couple of live updates since i purchased it, obviously not since this has happened though.

You say you purchased the program. Did it come on a CD or did you buy the download version?  Did you set up a Norton account and enter your 25 digit activation code?

You're getting message that your trial version has expired makes me believe the purchased software was never registered at your Norton Account..........

no, it came as an add-on to my new laptop (Acer).  The offer came with it.
