A Question about PC Checkup

I left my PC for a couple of hours, not logged into anything, and when I returned I found PC Checkup installed on my PC.  The last program I loaded was Norton Ghost 15 and that was about a month ago.  Did Norton give out PC Checkup?  It says it is a free tool but how did it install itself on my PC?  There is nothing showing up on my NIS scans, not even any cookies.

Check the 'Performance' tab, and see if you can see an installation listed in the graph.

Thank you for the reply and suggestion, petereb.  When I look in the Performance Section, it does show on 7/16/2012, Number of Installations:1, Norton Applications - Norton PC Checkup.  I'm pretty sure it is a safe Norton Product, I just don't think I downloaded it.  I thought I had installed Ghost 15, on that PC, but I installed it on another PC.  That bundle pack came with PC Utilities, not PC Checkup.  I don't know where that came from.
