A suggestion for Error: "3038,104" and other such errors

Whenever we get this kind of error, with the big scary red-outlined box that seems to scream 'DANGER DANGER DANGER!", almost without fail the "fix" is always the same: REBOOT. Sometimes then run LIVEUPDATE again. I hate to say it, but it's almost NEVER worth clicking the link to your website to research the error code, since all it ever does is suggest: REBOOT, THEN RUN LIVEUPDATE again.

So my suggestion is this: instead of confusing/scaring/upsetting the user with a cryptic error code and a creepy red-highlighted DANGER DANGER popup window, why not just a nice friendly popup that says: PLEASE REBOOT THIS COMPUTER ASAP TO KEEP YOUR NORTON PROTECTION CURRENT AND SECURE" ?   it would be far less incendiary, far more helpful and more deisnged to save ME the trouble, as the tech support specialist, of having to respond to every employee who gets terrified by an "ERROR ####, ###" popup, even those sharp enough to click the linl-thru to the Norton site only to discover that the site offers less info of value than does researching a Microsoft error code when you follow those links to MS's website.

If my aggravation over this comes across, then I've made my point! Thanks for your time and attention.
