I have been a Norton family user for over six months now, in that time i have had about 1 1/2 months of amazing prevention on my childs computer. after the big upgrade Norton did it has been worthless. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it blocks SOME websites and other times it does what it is supposed to do.
I have been reading this forum for months now and still do not see that norton has fixed some of the major issues, namely blocking https sites like youtube and gmail to name a few. also support for google chrome has been next to nil, although they Chrome has been listed among the supported browsers.
my child is home schooled and some of the online classes are only available through chrome and safari - both of these browsers are not compatible with Norton Family even though Norton says they are.
in short, Norton has continued to supply the reasons why i do not support them, the potential is great but they do not live up to their word.
I am going back to K9 which does EXACTLY what is stated.
