Access denied trying to enable auditing on Norton 360 files or directory

I need to enable auditing on the Norton 360 directory.  Logged in as local administrator, I get an access denied when trying to enable auditing.  Attributes show that I have full control and am the owner.  Simple test of trying to create a text file in the directory generates an access denied.  How can I get control and ownership of this directory?

Thanks for the info.  I was able to temporairly disable the tamper protection to set the audit settings then re-enable the tamper protection maintaining my settings.
