Please help! I am unable to access the shopping website for The Bay in Canada. It is a reputable site and I suddenly cannot open it. I keep getting the following message -

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://www.thebay.com/" on this server

Thank you so much for the quick response, much appreciated. The VPN was the culprit.

as test: with Norton Secure VPN = On

Please confirm Norton Secure VPN is Off.

Maybe, The Bay wants to know your true location to provide localized content.

Please review:  Why Do Some Websites Block VPNs?

Websites often block VPN access for legal or copyright reasons.  There is nothing a VPN provider can do to get around these blocks.  Contact the individual web sites to see if they block VPN access.  Many sites do this for legal/copyright reasons.  A VPN service does not block access to any sites.  There is no white/black lists for sites.  Web sites have the right to protect their content.  And sometimes there are legal reasons for blocking access to users from a different geographic location. (credit peterweb)
