Issue abstract: Access to recently renewed Norton Utilities is blocked

Detailed description: In April of 2024 I installed the trial version of Norton Utilities Ultimate. As expected, it automatically renewed at the end of June, and it shows as being active and valid. However, when I try to use it, through the Dashboard, as I had been doing during the trial period, it says the subscription has expired and I need to renew. Presumably I need to enter the activation key somewhere; but after much trial and tribulation, I can find no way to do that. How do I unblock my subscription?

Product & version number: Norton Utilities Ultimate, serial num W8C4TP394DB9

OS details: Windows 10, with latest updates

What is the error message you are seeing? “Your Norton Utilities Ultimate subscription has expired”

Did you try fresh Norton Utilities download from your Norton account.
Maybe, your Trial was for old Norton Utilities Ultimate and you need fresh download from your Norton account.

Under Settings, scroll right to the My Subscription page. If that page is showing you as signed in and also showing expired subscription, Try signing out, and then try signing back in. That might be what will pick up the new subscription.

Thank you, thank you peterweb,

When I went to Settings > My Sub page, it showed me logged in under an older account. When I logged out and then back in under my current Norton account, it showed my subscription status correctly; and I now have regained access to and used the utility. Problem resolved!

Good news. Thanks for posting back.

Thanks PeterWeb. This worked for me this time. I hope nothing gets messed up again the next time I use Norton Utilities.
