WOW!!
My Norton “adventure” started early MAY 2026!
Today, after 4+ months, I received a “FULL” refund. I say full; however, the amounts I paid (not to mention the bank fees). They say it’s the total amount, but it’s not a complete refund.
For 4+ months I have “suffered” under Norton! Then, if you’ve read my earlier post, I have been fighting them to first FIX my system (I was without a computer for a total of 19 days!), and then I was able to delete ALL of the Norton products! That came with MORE problems! Files and data were missing. My passwords were an absolute mess _ I had to “Redo” ALL of my passwords - their Password Manager and that VAULT!! left me with shreds of either no valid password OR no password at all (great when it’s your bank account!) I deleted ALL of Norton on10/8/2026 - well, I say ALL - however, it’s the hidden files that I’m still finding more than 10 days later!! Their files went where they shouldn’t have been!! My system was NOT secure in ANY WAY! Needless to say, the “fixing” is an ongoing problem!
Regarding dealing with Norton (or ANY company, really), you need to be persistent and “stick to your guns” Don’t take NO for an answer! Talk to managers! It’s stressful and time-consuming; however, after FOUR-plus months, I received a nearly full refund!!
Therefore, don’t give up on your “problem” with ANY company!! If they sell you a product that doesn’t work, push for a positive result for yourself! The stress this has created is beyond belief!!
I didn’t know which of my posts I should reply to, so I had to start a new topic!
With Norton, it seems to have these levels: Customer service, Technical support (Level One, Two and Three!) When dealing with Norton (Actually ALL companies), if they are not helping you, ask to speak to a manager! It is your right as a customer!! Be persistent!
Thank you to ALL who read my posts (I hope they gave you either answers or hope to continue). I thank you
Don’t give up! Stay strong!!
Take care, Sheryl
