I purchased LifeLock for myself and my wife but I have no way of checking my wife’s info. There is no information or menu pick for “Check Family Member.” When I Google or search Norton on “how to” all I see are ads to add someone else to my plan. 1,000 results for purchasing a more expensive sub but 0 results on how to access that info.
Hi @HeatherA_Enright ;
Welcome to the community of support and exchange between Norton users.
Is your wife directly associated with your subscription ? Is your wife directly associated with your subscription? Or are these 2 separate subscriptions ?
If not, I invite you to consult this support page regarding : Protect the whole family by adding them to your Norton plan.
Cheers
Guillaume
Hello @HeatherA_Enright
~~ adding:
In Norton LifeLock, there is no “Check Family Member” menu because adult family members must have their own separate accounts to access their personal identity and credit information. For privacy and legal reasons related to Social Security Numbers, LifeLock does not allow one adult to view another’s private monitoring dashboard from a single login.
How to Access Your Wife’s Info
If you have already paid for a family plan, you need to ensure her account is fully “Enrolled” and activated separately:
- Check Enrollment Status: Sign in to your account at my.norton.com. Go to “My Subscriptions” and look for your LifeLock plan. There should be an “Add Member” or “Enroll Member” link.
- The Invitation: When you enroll her, you must provide her own unique email address.
- Her Separate Login: She will receive a “Welcome” email to that address. She must click the link in that email to create her own Norton login and password.
- Activation: Once she logs in with her own credentials, she will need to provide her own Social Security Number and personal details to activate her credit and identity monitoring.
Key Limitations
- No Combined Dashboard: Even after she is enrolled, you cannot see her alerts or credit score from your dashboard. She must log in to her own account at memberportal.lifelock.com to see her information.
- Child vs. Adult: You can only see the information for minor children (juniors) directly from your primary dashboard.
If you have already added her and she hasn’t received the email, or if the “Add Member” button is missing, you may need to contact Member Services directly at 1-800-416-0599 to link her correctly without being charged for a new subscription.

My understanding is that with Norton by LifeLock Family plan when you set up the account. You’re asked for individual member details…including their respective email address… then each enrolled member will receive a Welcome letter…explaining they’ll setup their own Norton account.
Maybe, the primary member forgot to enter added member email address then added member will not get the Welcome letter to their respective email address.
Note: the primary member may contact LifeLock support and support will authenticate the primary member with SS# and will then share Welcome letter to secondary member.
Note: each adult family member must activate credit services with their own email address.

Caveat: I’m not LifeLock subscriber
Note: AI sourced content may make mistakes
There is no “Add Member” or “Enroll Member” link. There is a “Protect More Members” link which takes me to an ad to purchase, again, the additional coverage which I’ve already bought. I was never asked for a separate email address to create an account. I’m confused as to what the extra $125 I spent is for.
extra $125 for LifeLock by Norton Family plan (2 adults)?

…and what does LifeLock by Norton support say?

Working with an AI assistant hasn’t been helpful, any question along the lines of “how do I setup additional accounts” always result in being directed to pay for another account. It’s easy to complain, I know, but I made the assumption that purchasing coverage for additional family members would have resulted in information on how to setup that other account being sent to me or that other person. No dice.
