Ever since we upgraded one of our computers to the Norton 21.1.0.18 every so often we get a Norton Activation pop-up with the account holders ID and a place to type in the password. I don't understand the purpose of this popup so I haven't filled it out. It said something about getting faster customer service if the form is filled out. The popup keeps coming back, and the only way I can get rid of it is to restart my computer. There is an X on the pop-up to close the pop-up but it is grayed out and so doesn't work. If someone can tell me the advantages of filling out this form I will fill it out. I have never seen this pop-up before, so am curious about it. If no advantages how can I stop this annoying pop-up without resttarting my computer?
I think I solved my own problem as I believe I accidently clicked on the Norton Account at the top of Norton when I clicked on the desktop shortcut. I clicked on it to see what would happen and I got the so called pop-up I mentioned. Problem solved.

Actually the popup didn't come up because I accidenlly clicked on Account on the Norton desktop, but because I hadn't activated the account after getting the newest version Once I did that the popup no longer appears and now the account holder for both our computers has the name of the account holder on the Norton desktop. I don't believe this was ever on the older versions of Norton.
So this is the real solution--not the earlier one I posted.
