I want AntiVirus to COMPLETELY IGNORE my c:\program files\Eudora directory. It keeps finding a backup of my email client in there (eudora.rar) and saying there's a virus in it.
I've added c:\programfiles\Eudora\ (with subfolders) to my "Items to Exlude from Scans"
I've added c:\programfiles\Eudora\ (with subfolders) to my "Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect and SONAR Detection"
I've turned OFF "Compressed Files Scan"
AND IT KEEPS POPPING UP AS A SECURITY RISK !!!
Why doesn't this feature work in AntiVirus? Is it a bug?
You'd think when you EXCLUDE an entire folder path, it wouldn't scan files in those folder(s), no ?
How do I get Norton Antivirus TO TOTALLY IGNORE an entire directory, and it's subdirs ???
Thanks in advance!
