I hope this is the right forum for this this question..
I have two internal drive in my computer. C and D.
When I clone C to D using Acronis, drive D states that my
subscription has run out. Yet when I check drive C I still have
three month before it runs out.
Is Nortons treating this as two seperate computers?
If so I will have to look for an alternative to Nortons.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have just installed Norton's SystemWorks Premier 2008.
I believe it states that it can be used for up to 3 home computers.
Will this solve my problem of cloning from drive C to drive D?
As you stated that would account for two computers, right?
In section 1a of the End User License Agreement for Norton SystemWorks 2008 Premier Edition states that:
During the Service Period, You may:
A. use one copy of the Software on a single computer. If a greater number of copies and/or number of computers is specified within the Documentation or the applicable transaction documentation from the authorized distributor or reseller from which You obtained the Software, You may use the Software in accordance with such specifications
Do you have documentation that specifies a 3 computer license for the software? If so, according to this part of the License Agreement, you would be able to install on 3 systems without a problem.
You are correct; since you are loading the image to 2 separate drives, you have 2 separate subscriptions running on 2 separate operating systems. As the Norton SystemWorks Premier License Agreement states (in section 1A), you can use one copy of the product on one computer.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
