Acronis True Iname Home 2012 and Norton 360 Firewall

Hi,

 

I started doing my backups in the evening before I go to bed. I set Acronis to do its job and click he box to shut down when it is complete.

 

Well this morning about 3:00am I noticed my PC was still on. So I thought something went terribly wrong.

 

What happened was Norton 360's firewall was waiting for a response to 4 popup questions. Once I took care of those the system shut down perfectly

 

Now, is there a way to suppress these pop ups without letting just anything out? Most of the "exe's" It wanted to let out were already in the firewall as allow so I don't get any they popped up anyway.

Hi,

Quick question - what is the setting for 'notifications'? Could be that with notifications turned off your problem will be solved.

Ok, so if I turn notification off and I am not there, what will Norton do? Allow or Deny the request?
