For years we have been using our Act! CRM software. We have been using various versions of this CRM package since 2006. Latest has been running like champ for two years on Windows 10 on new Dell desktop. Four days ago the CRM stopped dead and an error message came up stating that "This 16 bit program can not run of this 32 bit system." From that point on it was impossible to load Act!
Each attempted load resulted in an " This Act! program has not been loaded correctly."
Act! has also ran perfectly on my MS Vista based laptop for four years. I went to the Laptop started Act!, appeared to be performing normally, so I attempted to access the up to data Act! CRM Data from my Windows 10 desktop. Act! stopped instantly with the same error message, "This 16 bit program can not run of this 32 bit system." All attempts to reload resulted in the same loading error " This Act! program has not been loaded correctly." Is this "a software product Bomb", a security system (IE 360) malfunction, MS or SwiftPage Inc (Latest Act! provider) selling their CRM Software or etc. etc?
