Hi,
When I right click in the context menu on a file I have the option to scan it with Norton.
However since version 25.3.9983 (versie 25.3.9983.926) nothing happens when I select ‘scan selected file’
I don’t get a Norton pop-up screen with the result of the scan.
Is this a known bug?
Ps. I have windows 11 with the classic context menu.

@Peje Have a look at this Microsoft article for a possible solution:
You can show the Legacy Right Click Context menu by clicking Show more options at the end of the list or pressing Shift+F10. If you want it by default, you need to add a registry entry below so that every time you right-click a File or Folder, it shows the Legacy Context menu by default.
Restore the old Context Menu in Windows 11
- Right-click the Start button and choose Windows Terminal.
- Copy the command from below, paste it into Windows Terminal Window, and press enter.
- reg.exe add “HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32” /f /ve
- Restart File Explorer or your computer for the changes to take effect.
- You would see the Legacy Right Click Context menu by default .

Thanks for your help but maybe I was not so clear.
I already have the legacy context menu.
And Norton is in my context menu (as it previous was)
But with latest version nothing happens when I right click on a file and select ‘scan file’ via the context menu.
With the current version of 25.xx once clicking Scan for viruses you only get an entry in ‘History’, this will show basic details of the scan.

Indeed when I open Norton myself and go to history and then do the quick scan I see the result.
So you don’t get the pop-up anymore with the basic result after scan and you have to open Norton by yourself and go to history to check the result of the quick scan.
Very strange imo and not quick at all.
I don’t understand why this has changed. There is no purpose anymore to use scan file via right click menu.
