I just migrated to a new computer, which came loaded with a trial NIS subscription. I now want to activate my current NIS subscription, which runs through November 2012. I signed into my accounts window, and can see both my trial and current sunscriptions. The current subscription has a DOWNLOAD icon next to it. Do I click on it to reactivate my current subscription?
If so, are there any instructions I have to follow to complete the installation?

Hi obxperson99,
That depends if you have a 1PC or 3PC license. If you have a 1PC license you will have to contact Customer Support. The best way is by Live Chat here http://www.norton.com/chat. If you have a 3PC license then I think if you activate your trial with the current subscription Product Key, you should be OK. But if you want to reclaim your lost activation then please contact Customer Support via above. There will be no need to download. I hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.
Thanks, Dave.
Thanks! I did it, and the rep assisted me very knowledgably. Now up-to-date with my subscription.
Excellent !!! Thanks for the feedback. You know where to find us if we can be of assistance.
For future reference, there is a new feature called Norton Management that explains how you can solve activation issues without the need to contact Customer Support. Please see this post by AllenM.
