I had norton inernet security installed on my laptop and i thought everything was wworking well,. then i installed adaware (paid version) because on my ol computer it always found asware that norton did not. Anyway, On my ist scan by the new adaware, it found 3 trojans and a worm in the program data/norton folder with a .qbd extension. At first i thought i was detecting some par of the norton system, but i googled the extnsion and it sai it was a quicken file. i have never had quicken, so i told adaware to delete the file. it said it did and i rebooted an scanned again, and lo and behold, it found the same 4 files again in the same spot.
this time i just quarantined. what do i do?! Is it detecting real threats that infiltrated norton or is it detecting part of the program that it needs to run. i am attaching part of the adaware log from that scan.
