Add a new program rule to Norton 360: program doesn't appear

Hello,

 

how can I add a new program rule to avoid this program to access Internet w/ Norton 360 (v 1.3.3.5) ?. My problem is that this new program doesn't appear in the programs list for the firewall configuration.

My problem is that I don't have this Add bottom. I only can modify or delete rules ...

Hi MA,

 

You are currently using Norton 360 1.0 version. The feature to add a program to the list of program rules is not presnet in this version. Better to upgrade your Norton 360 program to the latest version Norton 360 2.0. You can upgrade that at free of cost and you can add any program to the program rules in this upgrade version.

 

You may need to uninstall the Norton 360 1.0 using the Norton removal tool and install the upgraded version- Norton 360 2.0 .

1. Download a Trialware of Norton 360 2.0 from this Symantec Web Page.

2. Go to this LINK and follow the instructions for uninstall. Run Norton removal tool multiple times(2-3 times) to make sure that all components are completely uninstalled.

3. You can install the trialware and activate it using the same product key. You can get it from your Norton Account. Run LiveUpdate repeatedly until you see the message that no more updates are available.
