Adding a Login ID

I have a website that I go to, and I’m guessing that way back when, when I went to it the first time, I accidentally told Norton NOT to remember the login.  How can I manually add it to my login list?

Hi Pegasus38,

If you told Norton not to autofill information for a certain website and now wish to reverse that decision you need to remove that site from the Identity Safe Autofill Exclusions list and then revisit the site.  Log into Identity Safe, click on the Norton icon on the Norton Toolbar and select "Identity Protection Settings."  Under Autofill Exclusions, click "Configure[+]" and delete any entries for which you now wish to store log-in information.  You should be prompted to enable Autofill the next time you visit the website.

I just did what you said, and apparently I didn’t tell it to exclude it.  I have no idea why I don’t have it.  It’s not a super secure site or anything, it’s an ESPN Fantasy Baseball league page.  Is there any way that I can manually add it to my list?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to manually enable autofill for a website.  You need to be prompted.  There are some types of login fields that cannot be recognized by Identity Safe, as explained in this post.  In looking at the ESPN Fantasy Baseball site it appears that the login form may use JavaScript and that could be why you are not prompted to use Identity Safe.

This does appear to be one of those sites for which we have trouble detecting the login submission. As a workaround, I suggest trying to save your login through another form on the espn site: https://r.espn.go.com/members/login

This one is a standard HTML form and I do get a prompt to save a login from it. Note that the login shortcut will point to that page instead of the Fantasy Baseball page, but at least the login can be saved and it should fill the fields on the form when it's opened from the Fantasy Baseball page.
