I currently have three computers subscribed with internet security. I wish to retire the oldest one and add a new laptop.
The new laptop came with a trial version of internet security but will expire soon. I want the new one on my current subscription
which has 265 days left. How can I make the changeover?
Uninstall Norton from the retired computer and then use the KEY to activate the trial installation (it is the identical product isn't it?)
You may get a message that you can't activate because you are exceeding the peremitted number of activations but then just go to Norotn Customer Support using the OnLine CHAT route and tell them what happened and they'll correct the database.

You can choose CHAT or Email; email or phone may have a long wait time and feedback from users tells us that CHAT is by far the best at resolving problems.
Note that that link is to the USA/CAN website so if you are located elsewhere I'm sure you will be able to find the equivalent location on your local Symantec website; some pages have a link at the top right where you can select the country you are located in.
If you can't remove the product from the retired computer say because it has crashed just tell them that -- they are used to it!
