Adding device to active 360 de luxe

Trying to install a 3rd device on 360 de luxe. Scan a code or share a link gives other device a sig in option, but will not send the email for forgotten username or password. Going round in circles.

With chat we tried with me looking at Norton site and operator guiding my steps by message, we had to give up and then remote access eventually solved things. If I ever, as an aging non-techy person, have problems again, would I be able to negotiate Norton's abstruse help site and find a chat person. I shudder to contemplate it.

Thanks. Ended up with remote access to get 3rd license on account, so solved problem

Why do you need the forgotten username or password? Those emails would get sent to the account holder. If you do not have access to that email account on the 3rd device you cannot get them.

If you know the Norton Account credentials you just enter them when you tap on Sign In.

So, you have Norton account 2FA enabled? 
Do you have any 2FA backup codes?

Already got a product key for both active devices, and can share access for 3rd device via QR code or download link.
