I use Norton 360 fully updated. I use Outlook 07 for email and running Windows 7 home premium 32 bit. I have had no issues at all until the last couple weeks. It seems that now and then I get an email that does not get caught by norton and moved. I will then highlight it and click this is spam button but for some reason it will crash outlook completly. just had two emails in a row do this so I manually added them to the blocked list. after doing both of them I came to a 3rd one and it went to blocked list just as it should. Have they figured out how to get around norton antispam now? I still have both emails if you need anything from them. Nothing special in the emails no attachments or anything.
Anyone home?
Hi Matman,
I'd suggest you to check the "Disabled Items" under the 'Help' button for Outlook 07.
Cheers!
?????????????? What does disabled items have to do with some emails not being able to be added to blocked list via the "this is not spam" Button?
Some emails cannot be added to blocked list via the button. It will crash outlook 07. I have to add them manuelly. I think they have figured out how to get around the antispam system. I do still have the ones that wont add if someone at Symantec is interested.
Hello matman.. could you please specify the version number of your N360 product. You can find it under Help -> About.
Is it version 3 or version 4. 'Fully updated' could mean any version of N360 with all live updates downloaded.
Thanks
When I say fully updated I mean just that I am running the newest and not a beta. Version: 4.3.0.5
