Adding wife without having to create a new account

I think that OnlineFamily holds much promise but, at the moment, it is not very user friendly.  Too many  hoops to jump through.  I have created an account and have all the kids added on.   I invited my wife… she then has to create her own account and re-enter all of the information (essentially repeat all the work that I did).  Why can she not simply use my email address and password?  Furthermore, the email address feature does not allow one to enter the entire email address.
