Additional device for family member not linking to her own account

I have Norton 360 Premium - I had 10 devices available and have used 4. I want to add my mother’s laptop to my account so I did everything I was supposed to do (sent a download link and loaded it onto her laptop) and it is loaded and working on her account. My question is: it is my understanding that she can have her own account without using mine as I’ve provided her with one of my licenses.

I created an account in her name and email address.
When I log into my account it now says I’ve used 5 devices.
When I go to her laptop, it has her name and email address,

BUT… when I click on “my subscription” or “my devices” on her laptop, it says “You have no subscriptions”

I tried entering my key on her account, but it says “Invalid”

Is there something I need to do on my end still or…???

I live out of town and can only help her with this for another day…

The only thing a family member or friend can use their own Norton Account for is the Norton Password Manager app. The 360 subscription is always tied to your Norton Account. So for now you can sign into your Norton Account on her laptop. Or you can uninstall 360, send another email invite from your Norton Account, and install from there.
